Speakers: 

Jan Leeuwinga, Director, Global Label Management, AbbVie

Global Label Management is responsible for the creation, coordination, and implementation of packaging and labeling for new and changes to existing marketed AbbVie products. 22 years at AbbVie, experience in Supply Chain, Business Excellence, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Quality. Degrees in Commercial Economics, Supply Chain Management (universities in the Netherlands), currently enrolled in MBA Program (Lake Forest, IL graduate school) – graduation 2023.

Jackie Leslie

Category Specialist - Life Sciences

Jackie has 20 years of experience in labeling and artwork management solutions, from solution development, to consulting, and account management. Her focus is on identifying process improvement opportunities, sharing best practices, and recommending technology-based solutions to support getting products to market faster, increasing quality and reducing risk.

Samantha Thompson

Account Executive Brand Owners

Samantha joined Esko Brand Solutions in October 2015 as an Account Executive. Samantha covers the Southeast territory for Esko Brands, residing in Mount Pleasant, SC with her husband, daughter, and pup.

Prior to joining the Brand Team, Samantha worked as an Inside Sales Representative for 2 years. Prior to Esko, Samantha was an account executive at Erwin Penland.

Samantha graduated from Clemson University in 2012. She has a BS in Graphic Communications/Packaging Science with a minor in Business Administration. Samantha also obtained her MBA from the University of Phoenix.

In her spare time Samantha works as a yoga instructor, has a passion for fitness/running, and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Joe Eckerle

Director, Brand Sales

Joe joined Esko as an Account Manager in 2010, where he gained a great deal of knowledge around the entire Esko suite of product offerings. In 2012 he became an Account Executive for the Brand Owner team, servicing a large portion of the Mid- West. In 2015, Joe was promoted to Director of Brand Sales for North America, while still maintaining responsibility for a few strategic accounts. If February of this year, Joe was given responsibility for the global sales team for Esko Brand Solutions.

Before joining Esko, Joe was involved with operations, prepress and project management. Joe brings 22 years of experience with software solutions for the packaging, marketing, and print production industries, having worked with all levels of the supply chain.

Joe has earned a BA from Bethel University and an MBA from Metropolitan State University.
